Where children love to learn

Little Sandbox is a progressive preschool located in Quezon City that takes children on a learning journey filled with wonder.

Our Vision

Our vision is to develop a future generation of world changers who are compassionate, resilient, excellent, and resourceful.

Our Mission

We are committed to providing an environment where children love to learn, which will be the foundation that will equip them to be part of building our nation. We not only teach our students academic skills, but also help shape their character so that they can become good, productive citizens.

Our Philosophy

Little Sandbox believes that young children learn through play, which is their work. The teachers get the kids excited about education through a combination of active play and structured activities. Children are innately curious and are capable of making meaningful discoveries when they are given opportunities to explore, play and experience.

Daily Schedule

A daily schedule provides structure, routine, and organization to the learning environment, promotes optimal learning opportunities, supports children's social-emotional well-being, and facilitates effective communication between educators and families. By following a consistent daily schedule, we can create a positive and enriching learning environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

Our Facilities

Our facilities make children feel like they're stepping into a second home. Our cozy and nurturing environment is designed to provide a safe and comforting space where children can thrive, learn, and grow.

Hear What Families Have to Say

Having come from the pandemic, Lucia was such a cautious and shy little girl. It only took a little while upon entering Little Sandbox, that we noticed that she was slowly coming out of her shell. Our once quiet and reserved little girl was now speaking her mind, making friends, relating with others, and confidently expressing herself through her artwork, spoken language, and through song and dance. She comes home everyday with so much joy over all the experiences and relationships built during her school day!

Because of Little Sandbox, we saw that Lucia has such tremendous excitement for learning, exploring, and creating. But more importantly, we saw that the school helped her learn how to be kind, sensitive, compassionate, and caring towards her friends and community.  We also noticed that her knowledge is based on such solid foundations because of all the hands-on, relatable, and concrete experiences in school, allowing her to always make sense of all her new learnings.

We are so grateful to be part of such a wonderful, warm, and supportive community - from the teachers, teaching aids, security, co-parents, and co-students. Even as Lucia moves on to a bigger school in the near future, we will always fondly look back at this community we started in, and be grateful for having come from the best starting ground for her to face all of life's big adventures.

Learning through play is what I really wanted for my boys as I, an occupational therapist and a play advocate, know how powerful play can be. Prince loves going to school. He never wanted to miss a class day, and when in school, he would always beg to stay for 5 more minutes. On the way home, I would always ask what they did in school, and he would happily answer, “We played!” And by “just playing,” I saw how he became more articulate, how he learned to read and to write, how he learned math and science concepts, how he became more confident and more compassionate. Prince is now ready for big school and will never forget the things he learned and the friends he made at Little Sandbox. His younger brother, Rafa, has started going to Little Sandbox, and I see the same excitement of going to school. I am confident that Rafa is in good hands, and I am excited to see him go through the same process of learning and development as his kuya.
