The Little Sandbox Preschool’s learning environment ensures that the children feel safe and welcome. These areas include Literacy, Math, Science, Art, Reading, Blocks, and Dramatics. They can move freely from one activity to another, giving the teacher an opportunity to attend to individual children according to their needs.
Step outside into our outdoor play area, which is an extension of the classroom. Here, children can enjoy the slide and swing set and other set-ups such as an obstacle course developing gross motor skills and coordination. The mud kitchen sparks imaginative play and sensory exploration as children whip up mud pies and culinary creations. In the sensory area, children engage their senses with tactile experiences using natural materials. The sandbox offers opportunities for creative play and fine motor development as children dig, build, and sculpt.
